In the Garden
02:40
|
|||
In the Garden where we play
Is where the children spend our day
Flowers and bunnies and birds too
Light in the trees comes shining through
And we play and have fun
In the warmth of the sun
Full of joy full of wonder
Where we can't hear the distant thunder
Some say a giant once lived here
But no one's seen him now for years
maybe he never did exist
But unknown unloved cannot be missed
And we play and have fun...

So Sleep
04:10
|
|||
Leaves are falling down
Carpeting the ground
And the trees are going to sleep
and so should you
Stars are coming out
Shining round about
All the world is going to bed
and so are you
So sleep
My child sleep
Sweet dreams
My child sleep
Bears sleep in their dens
Roosts are for the hens
Flowers have their beds for rest
and so do you
Air is crisp and clear
Winter's drawing near
All the world is quiet now
And so are you
So sleep
My child sleep
Sweet dreams
My child sleep

Mole in the Ground
05:08
|
|||
I wish i was a mole in the ground
I wish i was a mole in the ground
For if i was a mole in the ground
I would root them mountains down
I wish I was a river in the spring
I wish I was a river in the spring
If I was a river in the spring
I would hear my darling sing
Darling let your hair fall down
Darling let your hair fall down
Darling let your hair fall down
And let your bangs curl round and round
I wish I was a little chickadee
I wish I was a little chickadee
If I was a little chickadee
I'd sing about all that I see
I wish i was an owl in the night
I wish I was an owl in the night
If I was an owl in the night
I would swoop on silent flight

Shady Grove

Shady grove my little love
Shady grove my darling
Shady grove my little love
We're bound for the shady grove
Cheeks as red as a bloomin' rose
Eyes of the deepest brown
You are the darling of my heart
Stay till the sun goes down
This evening I spied my little love
Standing in the door
Her shoes and socks were in her hand
Her little bare feet on the floor
Go to sleep my little love
Go to sleep my darlin
Go to sleep my little love
I'll see yo8u in the morning
Shady grove my little love
Shady grove my darling
Shady grove my little love
We're bound for the shady grove

Who Has Seen the Wind?
02:16
|
|||
Who has seen the wind?
Neither you nor I
But when the trees bow down their heads
the wind is passing by
Who has seen the wind?
Neither I nor you
But when the leaves hang trembling
The wind is passing through
Who has seen the wind?
Neither we nor they
But when the clouds fly silently
the wind is making way
Who has seen the wind?
Neither they nor we
But when the hawk suspends in space
the wind has set her free
